My current favorite blends the following:
1/2 navel orange
2 celery sticks
2-3 carrots (depending on size)
1/3 cup spinich
2 leaves kale (including stems)
1/8 teaspoon ginger juice, or 1/2 inch piece
1/2 – 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon chlorellaRun all except the last 3 ingredients through a juicer.Some tips —
- Run the pulp through a second time to extract even more liquid. I have a Juiceman Jr.; other juicers may not need the second run.
- Buy a bunch of ginger, peel, juice. Keep it in a jar in the freezer and take small amounts out to mix with fresh juice.
- Drink half of the juice right after juicing; drink the other half an hour later. It keeps you full and stops you from reaching for a snack.
